RESULTS FROM GSM TOURNAMENT 2009
Professional Division
It is unfortunate that the first day had to be cancelled due to weather. As you all know we tried our best to get the first day in but the Big Guy upstairs was going to have none of it. The default was going to be a one day event and Waverly bested the field with 4 species, 15 fish for a total of 304.11 Points. 2nd Place was Win-N-Angel with 4 Species and 15 fish for a point total of 301.9 Points, and 3rd Place was “Garden Hose” Al in Rainmaker IV with 4 Species, 13 Fish for a Total Points earned of 267.2. Great by all the Captains, and what proved to be exceptionally difficult fishing day. The storm stirred up everything except the biting fish… How you guys and gals do it is beyond me.. These Captains are truly the Best of the Best on any fresh water Lake….. Thank You all.. we will see you next year… Kirk S. Morris – Executive Director

Amateur Division
Amateur Division got lucky. As a one day Tournament this division missed the horrific weather we had on Friday.. All in all it was great weather, but difficult fishing. They may have fished in the Amateur Division, but they can hang with the Pro’s any day of the week. Winning the Tournament in only his second attempt was Sigg’s Rigs’ with a catch of 12 fish weighing in at 60.85 Lbs for a 1st Place point total of 180.85, in 2nd Place was Hawkeye with eight fish, weighing in at 49.15Lbs for a point total of 129.15. In 3rd Place was Tis A Good Life with 9 fish weighing in at 37.95 Lbs for a point total of 127.95. Congratulations to the winners and the whole fleet. Without your fishing talents and willingness to pit your skill against others we land lubbers wouldn’t have the fun we do, seeing you duke it out..
Thank You for another wonderful year. We at the PFC Geoffrey Morris Memorial Foundation look forward to seeing and all your friends next year…. Good Fishing… Kirk S. Morris – Executive Director
